Getting close....

Okay everyone--our departure date is steadily growing near!  With only 9 and 2/3 more days left in the countdown, things are really moving quickly!
The team has completed their fundraising and we are excited to announce that we have reached our monetary goal, so we're all set and ready to go as far as things go financially!  (Yay!)
Yesterday we had our last team meeting and the entire team was present.  It was awesome and I had so much fun getting to know my team members better!  We spent some time practicing our skits and the songs we will be performing in Puerto Rico.  This was a fun time where the team bonded, joked, and shared many laughs!  The unity on the team is amazing and I absolutely love my team members!
Rosa's father, a true Puerto Rican and a wonderful chef, came to the Zimmerman's house and worked for hours to prepare a wonderful Puerto Rican meal for the team!  It was amazing!
